Lieutenant General Bruce Wright, Commander US Forces Japan, and Dr. Liam Fox, the United Kingdom's Shadow Secretary of Defence, have agreed to discuss and debate a broad range of energy security and geopolitical issues confronting the United States and our allies at the Athena Institute's Discover Brilliant International Conference and Expo being held in Seattle on September 17-19, 2007.   "General Wright and Dr. Fox will provide the Discover Brilliant conference with a high-caliber and thought-provoking analysis of the geopolitics and movements shaping the energy environment of the future," said P.S. General Bruce A. Wright is Commander, U.S. Forces Japan, and Commander, 5th Air Force, Yokota Air Base, Japan. In these two command positions, General Wright is the senior U.S. military representative in Japan and commander of the U.S. Air Force units in Japan respectively. Prior to assuming his current position, he was Vice Commander, Air Combat Command (Langley AFB), and Air Component Commander for U.S. Joint Forces Command and U.S. Northern Command. General Wright has more than 3200 flying hours and flew 65 F-16 combat missions during operations Desert Storm, Provide Comfort and Deny Flight.    Dr. Liam Fox has held the position of England's Shadow Secretary of State for Defence since December of 2005. Dr. Fox was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) in April 1992.
